Van Morrison to Help Kickoff 2008 SXSW Festival
Van Morrison will start a short U.S. tour promoting his new record of self-penned songs at the Austin Music Hall on March 11th. The next night, he commences the live music part of the South By Southwest Festival with a small club date at La Zona Rosa. SXSW which officially kicks off on March 7 with the film and interactive media portions of the festival, runs until the 15th of March, during which over 1300 bands will perform on 50 stages in clubs and other venues throughout downtown Austin.
